A review: Colourpop Lippiestix

My favourite product from Colourpop is hands down the Lippie Stix in matte formula. To be completely honest, I have only tried their matte formula, thus I cannot compare between the finishes and they have several others including glossy, satin and sheer among them. Here I have a quick review on my thoughts of this product and also some swatches.

Brand: Colourpop
Product: Lippie Stix (Matte)
Formula: Matte, but although marketed as so, I find it does not dry down to a true matte, more of
a velvety finish. The formula is very comfortable and hydrating unlike the usual matte lipsticks which are commonly formulated to be lack of moisture, thus this gives the lipstick a slight sheen when first applied.
Application: Opaque, one swipe is all it takes

Colour selection: It goes above and beyond your wildest dreams, the colour selection can be overwhelming that it took me a good amount of time to decide on colours to try.

Now I just wish that Colourpop ships internationally because their lippies are just so good. Based on the current RM to USD,  personal shoppers often price the lippies at RM 35 (7USD) a pop. Overall, it is still an affordable price tag if you compare to lipsticks from drugstore brands (Maybelline, Revlon etc) in Malaysia which ranges from RM30-40. I do not have anything bad to say about this product, I highly recommend it and good luck in choosing colours, you will be spoiled. Until next time!
